Despite the uncertainty of the COVID 19 pandemic and the lockdown, we were still able to run two Project:500 camps in October and February half term where we managed to bring together over ninety disadvantaged children from Coventry to the Butts Park Arena for a jam-packed week of fun activities and educational activities.

During the October 2020 Project:500 week, children will take part in fun activities with the Senior Squad players. Each child will also have two meals a day, a replica Coventry Rugby Club shirt and a season pass, which help them stay connected to each other throughout the year after the end of the camps.

We are looking forward to welcoming another cohort of kids to take part in the initiative, All Kids Active, an umbrella that brings together our vital work with young people including the Project:500.

This year we were accepted into the Aviva Community Fund, a Crowdfunder that will give us access to match funding via Sport England! This means that for every child you sponsor at £200 we will receive another £100 towards bringing more kids through the doors.

In supporting us you will have your company or personal name added to our ‘Community Wall’ which is on display in the downstairs hospitality suite at Butts Park Arena, as well as the opportunity to meet the children you’ve helped and take part in media events that take place in during their time with us. We’ll also give you a shout on our social media channels for contributing to this incredible project.
