Recently our Director, Andrew Houston, had a chat with the Chamber of Commerce where he talked to them about his career in the lead up to becoming Director of Countrywide Tax and Trust Corporation. From starting work in investment management in Birmingham, playing professional rugby, to working as Head of Wealth Management at Barclays where he oversaw £27 billion worth of assets and over six hundred employees.
Now, one of Andrew’s responsibilities is to help the ongoing expansion of Countrywide both as a business as well as the development of people. After our recent move to the beautifully renovated period property of Gables House in Leamington Spa, the open-plan offices and communal spaces are where we hope to encourage team collaboration and a sense of unity.
The move has given us the vital opportunity to add more talented individuals to our ranks, and it has given us the chance to offer more services to businesses and individuals. This, along with our values of Integrity, Teamwork, Learning and Innovation, is what continues to drive the expansion of the business.
